Once again, the students were asked to design a kitchen and a bath for a real-life home. This year’s home was originally a small school.

The research also found that the size of American kitchens vary by geographic location, house size and the number of stories in a home.

Hackettstown, NJ (September 6, 2016) The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) recently announced that Delgado Community College has met the requirements to become an NKBA accredited program provider. The Certificate of Technical Studies in Kitchen and Bath Design (3 semesters/ 30 hours) offered by Delgado Community College has earned the NKBA Accreditation. In addition to classroom work, each student must complete an internship monitored by the educational institution. This experience enhances and extends the classroom experience and makes certain students meet the NKBA’s required competencies. Programs accredited by the National Kitchen & Bath Association must have an NKBA Certified advisor or faculty member.

The research found that millennials spend an average of 17.7 percent more than the $19,155 typically invested in a kitchen remodel, and 42.3 percent more than the $11,364 normally allocated to remodel a bathroom.
