(OCTOBER 22, 2015) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) announced the 10 winners of the 2014/2015 NKBA Student Design Competition – East Tennessee Gentleman’s Farm, which offers $10,000 in scholarships and prizes. For the first time in the history of the competition, the students were asked to design a kitchen and a bath for a real-life custom home built in the heart of East Tennessee.

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (OCTOBER 8, 2015) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) fourth consecutive Voices from the Industry (VFTI) Conference Program to be held at the upcoming Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, Jan. 19-21, 2016. The conference will offer over 90 informative sessions with more than 70 qualifying for CEU credit from the NKBA. Some sessions also qualify for continuing education credits from other industry associations, including the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB), the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (August 6, 2015) – The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) recently introduced a brand new collection of compliance and safety courses on NKBA University, the association’s virtual Learning & Professional Development arm. These newly introduced courses that fall under the Ethics & Code of Conduct Curriculum and Workplace Health and Safety Curriculum, cover a variety of topics essential to promoting awareness of ethical conduct as well as safety and health standards in corporate environments and construction sites. In addition, newly included courses on workplace harassment are being offered in French and Latin American Spanish versions, catering to a diverse audience in the U.S. and Canada.

Georgian College, located in Barrie, Ontario, has met all requirements to become an NKBA Supported Program provider of the Kitchen and Bath Design (KBDE) Ontario College Graduate Certificate, effective January 1, 2015. This is a 1-year (2 semesters) program consisting of 44.5 semester credits.
