CAD Tip #3: Centering Objects
By Morton Block, CMKBD
The following is the first in a series of helpful hints for performing various CAD functions. The following instructions relate to 20-20 Design Version 8.
One of the most versatile features in the 20-20 Design program is the centering tool. It has two main features. You can center any item within an existing space or center any item on another item. For example, you can center a door in the middle of a wall or you can center a sink on a sink base cabinet and then center the sink base cabinet on a window.
The example shown below is for centering a sink base on a window.
Right click on item Left click on Center |
Left click on the window |
Press the enter key |

Check the Information box for the "Action Tip" during the use of the centering tool. It will prompt you if you get stuck..
