Description
A three-day course for aspiring Certified Kitchen Designers (CKDs) and Certified Bath Designers (CBDs). This course offers participants a time-effective way to review the four domains of competencies and skills required of a certified professional: planning design, construction/mechanical systems, business management and products/materials.
Practical (Design) Review:
Focuses on the NKBA Guidelines and the Graphic and Presentation Standards; skills of analyzing client needs, specifying product, creating design solutions and project drawing and documenting in a timed environment.
You'll Learn To:
- Gain a measurement of your skills
- Become more efficient in designing and drawing a project

Required Prerequisites
(1) Familiarity and understanding of the information found in all 9 volumes of the NKBA Professional Resource Library. (2) Introduction to Hand Drafting or competent drafting skills.
