It’s your industry, your career, and your choice.
In order to meet the increasing educational need for qualified professionals in the kitchen and bath industry, the NKBA created the Professional Development Department. NKBA Professional Development offers courses, both in-person and through convenience learning methods, that provide the learner with the tools necessary to succeed in the demanding kitchen and bath industry.
The NKBA Professional Development Department offers invaluable opportunities for kitchen and bath professionals to enhance their career through the industry's premier courses, webinars, seminars, conferences, allied partnerships, and research manuals.
NKBA Professional Development courses are available to all segments of the industry, as well as to all levels of experience. It is critical for kitchen and bath professionals to enhance their careers and stay current on the latest trends and techniques by attending in-person courses or taking a convenience learning course. Attendees take courses to earn NKBA educational hours, to maintain their certification by earning CEU credits, and to network with their peers. Attendees range from entry-level professionals at the introductory-level courses to seasoned decision makers at the more advanced-level courses.
NKBA Professional Development has categorized its courses and programs into five categories for easier searching:
- Business courses to expand your business
- Core courses to break into the industry
- Design courses to enhance your design skills
- Exam preparation courses to become certified
- Specialty courses to define specific skill sets
For students entering the industry, the NKBA offers Supported and Accredited Programs at colleges and universities throughout North America where NKBA-approved curriculum is offered at one, two, and four-year learning institutions. From there, it's a smooth leap into the industry and a quick springboard to becoming an NKBA-certified designer.
