We will define the various materials used to manufacture sinks and establish criteria for making the best sinks recommendations to suit budget, lifestyle and design preference. Installation options and considerations will also be covered. Pros and cons of the various sink materials are also detailed. Bios Maynard “Skip” Johnson has been involved with the kitchen and bath industry for over seven years. An hands on sales and marketing professional, Skip has extensive experience developing dealer sales training and education programs as well as fostering strong alignments between sales forces, customer service and corporate strategy. As the vice president of sales and marketing for ROHL LLC, Skip has brought his knowledge of the dealer and design channels to the decorative plumbing and fixture business. He is an accredited ASID CEU presenter and an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association as well as the Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association. Skip is a graduate of the California State University, Los Angeles. Phillip “Jake” Smith is a veteran of the decorative plumbing and hardware industry and has worked with Rohl since 1991. In 1996 ROHL hired Smith as the Technical Director where he is a product knowledge trainer for showroom consultants and ROHL independent and factory representatives. Additionally he manages the domestic testing compliance process for all imported products. Smith developed the ROHL technical manual and is a regular contributor to ROHL newsletters, the rohlhome.com site as well as the annual ROHL price book. A member of the Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association, Smith has participated on various committees and in the development of DPHA programs concerning faucets, fixtures, sinks and supporting plumbing technical manuals. All chapter meetings, where formal programs are presented, are approved for CEU credit through NKBA. |
