“Networking doesn’t work - for me!”… Have you ever heard someone convey that thought, or possibly said that to yourself? Actually business networking is one of the fastest ways to develop the contacts necessary for the growth of your company or career.  The problem is that many individuals approach networking with the wrong attitude.

Have you ever:

Attended a networking meeting and spent time with people who have “time on their hands” and no direction?

Been invited to a ‘leads” group only to find out everyone wants to sell YOU something?

Wondered why people from the same company, who attend networking functions, spend their time discussing their company business with each other instead of “working the crowd”?

Felt uncomfortable in networking situations?

Wished your networking resulted in more meaningful contacts?

Wanted to learn how to be able to assist those you network with to reach their goals?

Value to attendees:

In this session you will learn everything you need to know to successfully build a higher level of relationships. We’ll discuss how to develop the confidence to switch from passive to proactive networking behaviors and how to have goals, a plan and a course of action to ensure you make new contacts and use them to fuel your business and career.

The Impact of Technology on Comfort and Convenience in the Kitchen

Presented by Erika Hines of

Presentation summary:

Too often, kitchen product technology innovations are associated with gizmos and gadgets. Light systems controlled by a smart phone, refrigerators that talk to the cook. While we all look forward to such thought-provoking “what’s next” ideas ... today ... it is equally important to search out the details of products we specify that will enhance the comfort or add to the convenience of kitchens we create. For example: operational cabinet hardware, multi-height gathering area furniture, appliance technology, or more energy-efficient lighting systems, that will increase the value of our kitchens design solutions.

In this seminar, Erika Hines will discuss new information about, as well as show examples of technology innovations in kitchen products that can enhance the comfort or increase the convenience of kitchen spaces for modern families.
