Kitchen and Bath Design with Feng ShuiKitchen and Bath Design with Feng ShuiThu, Feb 19, 2015 to Thu, Feb 19, 2015

Date: Thursday, February 19th, 2015
Time: Check-in: 8:15am
Presentation: 9:00am

This program is worth .1 CEU

About the Program:
Even though it is over 4000 years old, Feng Shui (pronounced Fung Schway) is still a valid design principle in 2015!

Feng Shui is based on the philosophy that everything is energy; therefore anything you do to a space can effect how you feel when in it. By promoting good energy (chi) you create a space that feeds your mind, body and soul!

While interior design focuses on physical improvements of a space that are seen and tangible - Feng Shui works on a metaphysical level with changes that are un-seen, yet tangible. Both kitchens and bathrooms present certain Feng Shui challenges. This innovative presentation will cover the foundations of Feng Shui and demonstrate how to apply those principles when designing kitchens and bathrooms – without compromising design!

About the Speaker:
Sheree Vincent, principal of Fusion Designed LLC, is the only award winning
interior designer in the Twin Cities area who is also a Certified Feng Shui
practitioner, a Certified Green Accredited Practitioner in Residential
Interiors, an educator and a public speaker. Her work has been
featured in many publications; including Mpls/St Paul, Spaces, the
Minneapolis Star Tribune and has also graced the cover of the Design Journal. An accomplished public speaker, she has also been featured in live segments on
both KARE 11 and KSTP 5, as well as on the radio. Sheree Vincent is a graduate of the Wind and Water School of Feng Shui
(licensed by the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office) where she
received her certification as a Feng Shui Practitioner.
