NKBA Featured Speakers for KBIS 2015 Share a Focus on the Future

The NKBA Announces 2015 President and Executive Committee

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (NOVEMBER 19, 2014) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), the premier association for kitchen and bath professionals with over 60,000 members, today announced its 2015 Executive Committee, led by 2015 President Maria Stapperfenne, CKD, CBD of Whitehouse Station, NJ. Mark Kovich, of Winchester, VA, was named 2015 President-Elect, and Denise Dick, CMKBD, of Carrollton, TX, will serve as Vice President. Lorenzo Marquez, of Sugar Land, TX, will assume the role of Treasurer, and Blue Arnold, CKD, CBD, of Jarrettsville, MD, will hold the position of Secretary. John A. Petrie, CMKBD, of Mechanicsburg, PA, will serve as Immediate Past President.

Finalists Named for NKBA U Professional of the Year Contest

The NKBA Awards “Excellence in Education” Certificates to Top Schools

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (October 16, 2014) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) has awarded “2013 Excellence in Education” certificates to NKBA-accredited schools that have demonstrated the highest standards of kitchen and bath instruction. As part of an annual requirement for accreditation, each school submitted two student-designed kitchen projects, which followed the requirements of the NKBA Student Design Competition, titled Enchanted Makeovers.

NKBA Announces 2015 30 Under 30 Award Recipients

The NKBA Increases Learning and Networking Opportunities for KBIS 2015

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (OCTOBER 6, 2014) — The 2015 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) promises to be bigger, better and bolder than ever before. As owners of the show, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) is increasing learning opportunities, awarding its first-ever Professional of the Year award, and delivering some of the best networking opportunities that the industry has to offer. NKBA University, the Association’s learning and professional development arm, will present NKBA U Courses as well as Voices From The Industry (VFTI) including the Featured Speaker Sessions as part of the KBIS 2015 conference offerings. Many of the sessions give attendees the chance to earn continuing education units (CEUs), allowing them to maximize their KBIS attendance by earning required CEUs to maintain their accreditations.

The NKBA Announces the 2013/2014 Student Design Competition Winners

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (SEPTEMBER 30, 2014) — The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) announced today the ten winners of the 2013/2014 NKBA Student Design Competition – Enchanted Makeovers, which offers $10,000 in scholarships and prizes. The winners will attend the NKBA Design Competition awards event on Monday, January 19, 2015, held at Tryst Nightclub, the Wynn Hotel, Las Vegas, during the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS®). This prominent industry event will also recognize the NKBA professional designers who created the best kitchens and baths of the past year.
