Page 330 – Paragraph 5, sentence 2 – Correct to read: Due to extreme pressure within the earth, and the absence of atmosphere, granite is formed very dense with virtually no pores.

The following changes apply to the 2006 printing and have been incorporated into the 2009 printing:

Page 25 - Paragraph 3, sentence 2 - Correct to read: The guides allow the drawer to extend three-quarters of the way into the kitchen, or can be specified in a full extension configuration.

Page 37 - Delete the first two paragraphs. Page text starts with bullet point that begins: Open Shelf Unit

Page 45 - Paragraph 2, sentence 3 - Correct to read: This density rating is the weight of the board per cubic foot.

Page 166 - Paragraph 8, sentence 1 - Correct to read: Forced through the orifice at velocities of 100 to 160 feet per second, the gas develops sufficient suction to draw air through the partly open shutter.

Page 184 - Paragraph 3, item 1 - Correct to read: Is the microwave shallow enough that it can fit in a standard 12" deep cabinet, or is an oversized cabinet needed?
