When completing your CKD/CBD application, you MUST indicate your preference for the design portion of the exam on the exam registration form.
Choices available are:
- Hand Draft
- 2020
- Autokitchen
- Chief Architect
Important Information to Know BEFORE Choosing Design Software
You will receive a practice version of the NKBA exam software approximately six (6) weeks prior to the examination date. You MUST be a highly proficient user of the software in order to use the NKBA exam version effectively. If you do not use 2020, Autokitchen, or Chief Architect everyday, the NKBA and software companies recommend that you do NOT choose design software for the examination.
