National Kitchen and Bath MonthElectronic Integration SolutionsTue, October 18, 2011 @ 05:00 PM

October – National Kitchen & Bath Month

Join us for cocktails and hors d’oeruvers while enjoying the gallery show featuring work from our own members, professional interior photographers and students from the Art Institute.

Electronic Integration solutions in the Kitchen & Bath Industry

Caleb Fetter, Operations Manager with Residential Media Systems will be our speaker and presenter this month.  Residential Media Systems is an Electronic Integration company in business for nearly 20 years and located in central PA.  Electronic Integration is a broad term that many don't understand.  It's quite simple actually; we design, sell, and install home electronics (Televisions, sound systems, home control systems, home theaters, and computer networks) into residences and small businesses.  With the help of our many vendors we are able to come up with custom solutions for just about any situation to provide entertainment and connectivity to clients without detracting from the home's decor.  This is a key point of difference from many of the electronics stores that most consumers think of when considering a project like this; they don't have the experience to overcome many of the design hurdles presented in a home project.

Topics discussed will highlight solutions in our industry.  Televisions and video systems that integrate into a space, sound systems that are invisible, and other interior solutions that are designer friendly.

Kountry Kraft Factory TourElvin and Helen Hurst Tue, September 20, 2011 @ 11:30 AM

Factory Tour on Sept. 20 2011

Kountry Kraft is a living legacy-woven from one family’s deep pride and commitment to excellence, delivering remarkable craftsmanship decade upon decade.

Elvin and Helen Hurst had a vision to create expert-crafted cabinetry. With the support of Elvin’s parents-Reuben and Mary Hurst-that vision was turned into reality when Kountry Kraft, Inc. was founded in April of 1959. They have spent their lives managing the business while raising their four children.

As the company flourished, two of their four children became immersed in the family business. This experience gave them unique qualifications and a strong desire to guide Kountry Kraft into the future. In February 2003, Elvin Hurst Jr. and Dolores Hurst-Funk purchased the Company from their parents.

For over 49 years, Kountry Kraft has experienced steady growth. What budded in a one-car garage in 1959 has bloomed into a modern 96,000 square foot facility. To maintain a focus on detail and craftsmanship, the Kountry Kraft factory is kept current, tooled with the newest and most accurate industry equipment. Computerized panel saws, dovetailing machines, pneumatic assembly systems, and the latest in high-quality finishing equipment; it’s all at Kountry Kraft.

The Kountry Kraft office system computers and programs are also kept current to insure efficiency and accuracy in order processing, design and accounting.
