Design for Installation of AppliancesThu, May 19, 2011 @ 05:00 PM

We are pleased to announce that Billy Wood Appliance on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, will be hosting the NKBA -GA/SC Coastal Chapter.  There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages for the Social Hour from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and encourage all to make every effort to attend. The Social Hour will be followed by a short NKBA Chapter Program from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM, presented by the local Chapter President, Dennis Pusateri of Charlestowne Fine Cabinetry.

Billy Wood Appliance will be presenting a program on the topic of interfacing cabinetry with a focus on appliance installation and challenges that need to be addressed during design and prior to ordering cabinetry.  Some examples will include hood applications for proper ventilation; custom panel clearances and fillers in corner installations with ovens, dishwashers, microdrawers, etc. & adjacent drawer openings.

Steve Brown, General Manager of Billy Wood Appliance will be the keynote speaker for the program.  Steve has over 30 years experience in the appliance industry, with a concentration in wholesale distribution for 22 years.  Steve's expertise covers everything from the initial design process through the completed installation!  Attendees will leave with a renewed insight on the relationship between proper custom panel design and applied installation.
