PAINT 101 - Randall Smith, Benjamin Moore & Co.

What is paint?  The couse explains the four grades of paint, the five standard sheens and five types of paint.  Actual samples of the raw materials used to make paint are used to show the quality differences.  Samples of various products are used to show how the grade, sheen and type of paint can affect appearance and performance.  LEED and waterborne products will also be discussed.  This is a one hour live presentation that qualifies for one Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) Continuing Education Unit.
